Did Ye Aye?

Mint colourway.

*Please note. Due to a slight machine error, there is a slight faint line that runs through all the prints in the lower bottom blue fill (not the artwork) . Please see image 4. £5 has been taken off. It's the principle, it is only minor. Thank you.

"Did ye aye" is an extremely condescending phrase used to shut down the person you're talking to if you think they're speaking p*sh.

Riso prints may differ slightly from one to another, with small imperfections in registration / ink coverage. The yellow on this print as such has a washed out look with it being a large printed area. This is part of the beauty of the process, making each print it's own. “We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents.” Bob Ross

The Risograph printer was first released in Japan in August 1986. Its function is often described as a mix between screen printing and photocopying, as it can only print one color at a time and the making of each layer is a real geeky process that involves transparencies, overlapping colours to create new colours. It's my favourite style of printing as it's punchy, slightly worn and something from the 80's.
