On Saturday 12th April 2025, myself and Ciaran Globel painted an ode to two Scottish legends — Sir Billy Connolly and the late, great John Byrne — based on Byrne’s 2002 painting “Billy Connolly, Entertainer.”
We painted a 16ft tall, bare-naked, streaking Billy running through Nelson Mandela Place in Glasgow. The mural’s still up — for now. So grab yourself a lucky bum rub while you can… and make a wish.
