I was called in through the design agency I co-found de:strukt to paint a tailored illustrative mural for award winning design agency Blonde based in Edinburgh.  They have done allot of work with the likes of Irn Bru (this was all I needed to be super impressed)  

The company had just recently made a big move after another successful year to their new studio in Edinburgh Leith.  When myself and the fellow de:strukt chief Ricco first came in to scout and see it, we were blown away by its amazing set up and space.

I met the head Blonde team and we discussed the basics and I got them to nip pick the elements / tastes / stories from their staff (of forty plus) to make up a list of what they got up to behind their work front and in the studio.  It was MENTAL! ha! So I took their best ingredients and made it into a conzo cocktail!  Featuring their major love for robots / pickled onions / syrup / frogs / ibis bird /  music / jukebox / pc hate / steam punk / more robots / their boss dressed as Adam West Batman / booze and of course some of my classic characters.

A few months of planning and over 10 straight days of painting and the results were brilliant.  I hope the staff continue to enjoy it.
